The most recent activities and progresses of the SAFFI project were presented and discussed at the international meeting dedicated to SAFFI in Siena (Italy) on May 6, 2024on 6 and 8 October 2023. The meeting, organized by the editorial Board of the international scientific Journal Global Pediatrics, convened a vast audience made of healthcare professionals, public health administrators, Civil society representatives, consumers, and officers of food/drug companies.
[APRIL 2024] The principles, goals, activities and progresses of the SAFFI project were presented and discussed in a 2 sessions meeting dedicated to SAFFI at the International biannual meeting of the Union of European National Pediatric Societies. The SAFFI 2024 Global Meeting took place in Turkey (Antalya) on April 19-20, 2024 at the International 11th Europaediatrics (over 650 participants). Over 30 presidents of European national pediatric societies representing their countries, joining a large audience including Healthcare professionals, Public health Administrators, civil society (consumers), industry in general and food companies, attended the meeting. Among others: the president and the director-general of the world pediatric Society, the director of the WHO Europe section, the president of the Asia-Pacific Society, the past-president and delegates of the Chinese Pediatric Society, the entire board of the Moroccan Pediatric Society, the president of the European Society of Primary Care Pediatrics.

The 2nd symposium on “Safe Food For Infants” is held at the University of Izmir/Manisa on 20 November 2023. The progresses of SAFFI are discussed with an audience of 500 people made of academics, Students, Post-Docs, specialists in Nutrition and administrators in the sector of public health.
[OCTOBER 2023]
The principles, goals, activities and progresses of the SAFFI project were presented and discussed in 2 sessions dedicated to SAFFI at the Europediatrics International congress in Belgrade (Serbia) on 6 and 8 October 2023. The presidents of 25 national Pediatric societies representing their nations participated to the meeting, with an audience of 400 people made by healthcare professionals, public health administrators, Civil society representatives, consumers, and officers of food/drug companies.

EPA-UNEPSA has organized an international Weinar in collaboration with a network of Chinese Pediatric Hospitals, led by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital of the Shaanxi region in China. The EU Horizon 2020 project "Safe Food For Infants" was presented and its principles, mission and goals were discussed with the audience of over 3000 delegates connected from remote.
